We Love Tamara Lichtenstein's Sun-Drenched Photography

Tamara Lichtenstein has got it made. At first glance, her photographs depict a life styled only by sunlight, but after reviewing her entire body of work, it becomes clear that her photographs are calculated and composed.

Tamara Lichtenstein has got it made. At first glance, her photographs depict a life styled only by sunlight, but after reviewing her entire body of work, it becomes clear that her photographs are calculated and composed. Instead of casually clicking on her camera, she finds the perfect imperfections. Lucky enough to stay in her backyard while shooting friends and acquaintances, her work is a great example of the  “write what you know”  idiom; in every frame, familiar faces repeat and reveal a bit more of Tamara's love affair with natural light. Aside from her constantly-expanding client list (including campaigns for Urban Outfitters and Converse), she's currently working on a new book with Editions de LIC and has no idea what's next. We think she'll be fine.
