R&B orchestrator Ty Dolla $ign and soulful dude Jeremih are releasing a collaborative project called MihTy (which you could pronounce as "mighty" but is probably closer to "mai tai" because these guys make relaxing music) at some point this month. This is great news for people who enjoy creative R&B but don't want to hear it attached to Kanye West, who the duo both collaborated with on ye. They've now given us the first single from the project, "The Light."As expected, the track is balmy as hell, a light spritzing of funk bass and airy keys backing up Ty and Jeremih's throaty come-ons. Saying "let's have sex" to a person unprompted is always a bad idea, but when Ty sings that phrase verbatim in this song, all loins are powerless.
