Golden State was the nominal winner of Game 1 of the NBA Finals, but we all know that Rihanna was the real winner. She trolled future Finals MVP Kevin Durant from the sidelines and heckled him while lavishing LeBron James with royal attention. When KD hit a big three-pointer, he stared Rihanna down as he got back on defense. After the game, Durant pretended he had no idea what everyone was talking about, but winning heals all wounds and he's no longer playing dumb.

After the Warriors won the title in Game 5, USA Today caught up with Durant to ask him specifically if he had anything to say to Rihanna. At first he deflected: "I ain't go nothing to say." Then he opened his heart and admitted that he had nothing but love for the pop star but—but!—he still had to take her man down.

Finally, when USAT asked if their little side beef was a personal highlight of his, he said, "Oh my gosh, more than that." The games may be over, but KD is still driving hard.
