Put Some Dub in Your Techno with Fosky & Anthea's 'On The Floor' EP

A Brit and an Argentine tag-team on bass-driven tech-house for the 3 AM crowd.

Steve Lawler's VIVa MUSiC label is responsible for more than a few late nights on the dancefloor. And when I say "nights" I'm actually referring to that special time when the evening melts into morning; a time when everybody needs that little extra push to keep their body going. VIVa has that task down to a T and has been known over the years as a petri dish for some the deepest techno grooves that the world has to offer, releasing for artists likeM.A.N.D.Y, and Nicole Moudaber.

Their next piece of aural hypnosis comes from the tag team of Fosky & Anthea. Fosky hails from Argentina and is no stranger to bottom-heavy, far out techno, cutting his teeth with releases on Crosstown Rebels and Desolat. Anthea has a place among the elite squad of UK machine music, having studied under Loco Dice while DJing alongside Carl Cox and Nina Kraviz. Her style is dubby and abstract, but never loses the groove.

Together these two producers form a perfect one-two punch of nocturnal delight, and their new EP serves bass-driven tech-house for the 3 AM crowd. Desolat artist Guti takes a stab at one of the tracks and brings the addition of some rolling kicks and rattling snares, a nice segway into the final track on the release which is riddled with some dark female vocals that will take you even further down the rabbit hole. Damn, I think it's time to hit the club.

Fosky & Anthea's EP is out November 25 on VIVa MUSiC, with a remix by Guti.
