Spicy Claims
Britain's communication agency GCHQ has denied it wiretapped Donald Trump during the US presidential campaign. The unusual move by the agency came after White House press secretary Sean Spicer cited claims made on Fox News earlier this week. – BBC

Pain in the Assent
The Queen has granted royal assent to the article 50 bill, giving Theresa May the legal power to start Brexit negotiations with the European Union. The PM is expected to invoke the article before the month is out. – Guardian

Bangladeshi children as young as 10 years old are among hundreds of Rohingya Muslims detained on charges of consorting with insurgents, according to a police document that sheds new light on Myanmar's security campaign in the country's northwest. – Reuters

Trump Losing Support for His Paranoid Twitter Rants
The Republican and Democratic leaders of the Senate Intelligence Committee joined the chorus of lawmakers stating they are not aware of any current evidence supporting President Trump's claim that his campaign headquarters was wiretapped during the presidential election season. – Washington Post

Donald Trump has handed down his first budget, which includes cut to the arts, the environment, the elderly and the poor.
