The Bunker is fast becoming a go-to source for artistically-inclined techno burners and noisy synth jams. Since its inauguration earlier this year, the New York club night-turned-record label has dropped three releases from New York newcomers like Clay Wilson and stalwarts of vanguard electronic music like Donato Dozzy—and next week head honcho Bryan Kasenic will add a fourth entry to the catalog."Pressure Chant" and "Private Transgressions" come from Løt.te, an alias of the Turkish-born visual artist and producer Mehmet Irdel who also co-runs the mixed-media creative outpost Rote Productions in Brooklyn. Although his work to date—which he made under the Rote banner—experiments with power electronics and noise soundscapes, Løt.te's debut on The Bunker NY finds the producer meddling with detail-oriented techno beats.Both tracks sprinkle dark, sub-heavy drums with sonic minutiae, like ping-pong bells and whispers of white noise.
