A-Trak Of Fool's Gold Kicks Up Our Appetites With Tuna Melt

The new EP launches on December 4th.

When it comes to signing and creating aesthetics for indie hip-hop and electronic artists, Fool’s Gold are just about the farthest you can get from foolishness. When we spoke to them in their office in Brooklyn, we heard stories of the “love you can feel” when you hold one of their vinyls and the creative identity that the trio of Nick Catchdubs, A-Trak, and art director Dust La Rock have created for their brainchild.

After all the hard work of signing and bringing other artists into fame, Fool’s Gold members like to occasionally steal the spotlight for themselves, and so A-Trak has cooked up some new tracks for his hungry fans. Released under the Fool’s Gold imprint, Tuna Melt EP is his latest concoction. It features four tracks that pump up the jams with electronic power trips and masterful flips between styles. The EP explores electro, house, trap, garage, and techno and features appearances from Tommy Trash and GTA, among several others.

Tuna Melt is set to drop on December 4th, and to whet your appetite, A-Trak has released a few snippets of the album. Get a taste below…
