Adjust your thermostats, and let's play some motherfucken ball.

In the era of climate change, baseball's synonymity with summer is waning. It's April, people, and Mama Nature is having hot-and-cold (but mostly cold) flashes. Today's game between the Chicago White Sox and the Cleveland Caucasians was supposed to give you all those thawed-out Springtime vibes, but instead, we're dealing with a quarter inch of snow.

Yup, it's 32 degrees in Chicago, with a 54 percent chance of rain. Yikes. Thankfully, legendary groundskeeper Roger Bossard (who has his own Wikipedia page)—aka, the Sodfather—knows how to treat that diamond right, and is tamping down the frost. The result is, quite frankly, mesmerizing to watch.

The sun is shining, Roger is working hard and we're ready for some baseball. #SoxGameDay pic.twitter.com/9Tnxp1Ml3S

Now that's a man who can handle his rhizomes, amirite? Adjust your thermostats, and let's play some motherfucken ball.
