Kid Does 50 Pushups In Exchange for Yasiel Puig's Bat

Now imagine how many Dodgers 'do you even lift' Bros will come at Puig for hardware in exchange for burpees.

Yesterday was a pretty good day for fans betting athletes that they can do things. Usually, betting works in that fans bet against bookies or each other on teams, players doing X amount of things per sporting event. But this is the future, where you can bet athletes, and they wager back.

First, it was some random dude betting that he could out-putt Team Europe's Justin Rose yesterday—he did and won $100. And last night, a kid named Noah Rosenberg brought a sign to the Padres' Petco Park saying he'd do pushups in exchange for Yasiel Puig's bat, and being the convivial guy that he is, Puig took the kid up on the offer—asking for a cool 50 from the kid. #PuigNotBackDown

Puig even monitored the situation, making sure the kid didn't skimp on his promise (though the kid's got to work on his form), and provided him with water. The deal was set, and he got the bat. Now imagine how many Dodgers 'do you even lift' Bros will come at Puig for hardware in exchange for burpees.
