NUN’s Synth Punk Gets Darker and More Desperate on a New Remix Tape

The Melbourne band have enlisted Enderie to remix their track "Immersion".

In May 2011, Melbourne synth punks NUN set up in a studio at RMIT University and recorded the track "Immersion". Though the band were operating as a three-piece at the time, the track's concept has been a running theme throughout the band's existence. "Immersion II" appeared on their first LP and "Immersion III" will be on their upcoming Dome LP.

Andrew McLellan has spent the last four years working on remixes of "Immersion" and this week the band release Immersion (with Enderie) a four- track cassette that includes two of McLellan's remixes under his Enderie guise.

McLellan takes the original track and bends it with menace. Listen below and if you are in Melbourne head to Lulu's this Sunday where NUN will be spinning some records to celebrate the release of the cassette.

NUN celebrate the launch of 'Immersion (with Enderie)' in Melbourne on Sept 10 by spinning some records at Lulu's from 4pm.

'Dome' is expected in early 2018.
