Drone Racing League Administers Sick Diss to Auburn WR Coach Kodi Burns

Did you really think you'd be better at the internet than a bunch of E-sports nerds?

Step to the Drone Racing League, and you best not miss, son. Did you really think that you could come at a sport for people who fucks with technology all day and expect to out-internet them? Sorryā€”best practice your aim next time.

The latest victim to the DRL's internet savagery is former Auburn's wide receiver and current wide receiver coach Kodi Burns. Earlier this week Kodi was out there, casually dropping to his 26.6K Twitter followers that he was sick of this summer sports lull, and used DRL as his closest punching bag. DRL has made its entrance onto the great ESPN lately, and apparently Burns wasn't into it.

It's not entirely clear how DRL stumbled across this tweetā€”they're not tagged; they're not @'d. But boy did they stumble across it:

A pretty searing clapback from a bunch of thumb-roided, podracing fanboys. This social media person clearly knows SEC's standards of quality football, and know that 8-5 is no good for the 2010 BCS championsā€”a team that Burns was a part of.

But Burns isn't the first victim to these kinds of shenanigans from DRLā€”seems like they're patrolling for haters, and shutting them down.

Admittedly, this retort back to some random guy wasn't quite so hot, but here's how they dealt with him:

Seems like DRL is fairly willing to admit that drone racing is more entertainment than a sportā€”despite the whole E-sport argument. But these sick (sikk) diss-sessions sure do feel like sport to me.
