The last year has been a varied bag for Sharon Van Etten: she's made her acting debut in Netflix's The OA, appeared as a musical guest on the Twin Peaks reboot, and most recently, hopped on a track with her rehearsal space roommate Michael Cera. But to round 2017 off, Van Etten is taking it back to basics, as today she announces a reissue of her 2009 debut record because i was in love.

The new version of the album will come remixed and remastered—and retitled as (it was) because i was in love—on deluxe vinyl, and is released on November 17 as a Vinyl Me Please exclusive. It'll also come with brand new artwork and liner notes, and two new bonus tracks, "I'm Giving Up On You," and "You Didn't Really Do That," tacked on the end for good measure.

Of the because i was in love and its reissue, Van Etten said "It was an innocent and beautiful record, which some of my newer fans may not even know about. This seemed like the perfect time to remix and remaster it, and give it a new life." Hear the album's new version of opener "i wish i knew" below, and throwback all the way to 2009:
