Poté Melds the Gritty and the Lush on Bassy Floor-Filler "Stammer"

The sort of dark room club music you can't leave alone.

It's amazing when a track makes you feel like you are somewhere else, and this is no truer than when listening to Poté's "Stammer", a cut from the London based producer's EP Oryx. Beginning with a cacophony of rolling drums and trickling rhythms, followed in hot pursuit by a booming, full-bodied bass, there is something unbelievable tactile at play. The cold of night with the heat of the club, all rolled into one. We can't leave this track alone, so are super excited to be able to share it with you as an exclusive premiere on THUMP.

The breadth of influence on display here is wild, from bass-line, to footwork, to dub, "Stammer" has flavours of everything, but a taste all of its own. His EP has already gained support from the likes of Mista Jam, Toddla T, Plastician and Monki, and looks set to gain a wealth of new fans in the future based on the strength of his two tracks released so far.
