Autograf Turned A Festival Anthem Into A Balmy Late Summer Jam

Can you recognize the original track?

One of our favorite tracks of the week was inspired by a sentiment we just can't get behind: "Fuck Lady Gaga." According to the legend, the authors of this Friday summer jam—Chicago trio Autograf—attended Lollapalooza in 2010, the year Gaga was headlining. While she raged with her Little Monsters, the hardcore ravers mobbed to a set by Soulwax and 2ManyDJs, and about halfway through the set, the dancers started to chant "Fuck Lady Gaga."

Apparently, Autograf was moved by this experience, and four years later, they've revived an "epic festival hit" from that same summer: Swedish House Mafia's "One," which features vocals from Pharrell. Autograf sent us the cover, the second installment of the group's Future Summer series, and we were so taken with its balmy energy and live instrumentation flourishes that we asked for the honor of bringing it to you all. This version of the Swedish House Mafia anthem revamps the track "by giving it [a] sexy Tropical House/Future House chill vibe appropriate for any pool party or late night festival vibe tent." If you're looking for a song to soundtrack your late summer debauchery, here it is.
