London-based electronic shape-shifters Simian Mobile Disco announced their next studio album Welcome to Sideways today and shared its nimble lead single, "Far Away From A Distance." The track finds itself held in between build-up and catharsis for most of its duration, which lends a teasing sense of unease to its otherwise smoothly-wrought glide.

The album will arrive via their own Delicacies imprint on November 11, and follow 2014's Whorl. Along with full-length versions of its tracks, the album will feature a recording of them mixed together sequentially for home listening. Album cuts "Staring At All This Handle" and "Remember In Reverse" were both previously released as a singles in June of this year.

"Far Away From A Distance" will be released as a single on October 3 on digital and 12" formats, featuring a remix from the Cologne-based producer Lena Willikens; it's available for pre-order now.
