An Ohio mother says that a local Wendy's served her 4-year-old daughter marijuana-laced french fries during a visit to the restaurant earlier this week.

Dezeray Risner says that her daughter complained about her french fries tasting funny after a stop at a Huber Heights Wendy's. Upon closer inspection, Risner noticed what she believed to be marijuana sprinkled in her daughter's fries, along with the remains of a partially-eaten blunt, prompting her to call the police—and post an epic Facebook rant.

Police officers noted "green leafy vegetation" among the fries, and agreed that they possessed the "strong odor of marijuana". Some afternoon detective work by the officers failed to discover any weed on the premises of the Wendy's, but during consented searches, two employees reportedly confessed to smoking from time to time.

Wendy's said in a statement this week, "In response to Ms. Thompson's Facebook Post, please know all of our customers as well as the quality and integrity of our food are a top priority at Wendy's and we are taking this very seriously. We are currently conducting a thorough internal investigation and the Human Resource and Legal departments are both fully cooperating with police in their investigation. We will get to the bottom of this issue as soon as possible. It is as important to us as it is to the community." MUNCHIES has reached out to Wendy's for further comment.

Meanwhile, this is hardly the first time America's favorite cartoon redhead has been accused of being less innocent than her pigtails would lead you to believe. In April 2015, police busted two East Coast Wendy's locations (as well as a McDonald's and a Taco Bell) for providing customers with pot with their order. In total, 14 people were arrested for their part in a scheme that involved customers ordering "extra Muenster cheese" in order to score some off-menu herbs in their takeout.

The Wendy's french-fried weed investigation is still pending, but if the two employees that confessed to being stoners end up needing to find new jobs, we hear that the Hamburgler is always on the lookout for new Fry Guys.
