It's hard to pinpoint the exact reasoning behind Baylor's rash of decommitted high school recruits, but it's pretty easily boiled down to one of four connected things: either it's Art Briles being fired, the subsequent exodus of other top recruits, the team's five-game losing streak this season, or the school's reputation being run to tatters in the wake of rampant sexual assault scandals. Take your pick.Nevertheless, the 2017 recruiting class has whittled down to a mere one recruit this morning after Noah Daniels, the No. 136 cornerback from League City, Texas, decided to opt out of his July commitment. He apparently has 24 other scholarship offers, according to USA TODAY.That leaves only Jalen Pitre, a three star defensive back from Stafford, Texas. Pitre made his commitment back in July 2015."The education hasn't changed," Pitre told the Houston Chronicle shortly after Briles was fired. "My coach is still there.
