Michelle Lopez knows how hard it can be to overcome the obstacles life presents. From her HIV diagnosis in the early 90s, to simply aging with the disease in a society ill-prepared for people like her, Michelle has always found a way to rise above it all. She starts with a dialogue—her focus is on educating other aging LGBTQ+ individuals who are largely still having sex but are at increased risk of HIV exposure or comorbidities later in life.
