Amy Ziering Talks Campus Rape and Why No One Believes Women

In this episode of Broadly Meets, we talk to Emmy Award-winning filmmaker, Amy Ziering, about how she exposed the campus rape epidemic in her latest documentary, "The Hunting Ground."

Amy Ziering is a two-time Emmy Award-winning documentary filmmaker. In her most recent film, The Hunting Ground, which was shortlisted for an Oscar nomination, Ziering decides to find out what happens at institutions of higher learning when survivors of campus rape come forward. Mirroring the narrative of her 2012 documentary, The Invisible War, where Ziering examines the epidemic of sexual assault in the United States military, she exposes the grim incentive for college administrators to ignore the alarmingly high rates of rape on campus.
