Twitter Suspended Accounts Linked to the Neo-Nazi Website Daily Stormer

So far, the Daily Stormer has been booted from at least three existing or potential domains, including GoDaddy and Google.

The Daily Stormer is running out of places to post on the Internet—Twitter kicked several accounts associated with the prominent neo-Nazi website off its platform Wednesday.

So far, the Daily Stormer has been booted from at least three existing or potential domains, including GoDaddy and Google, since a white nationalist rally in Charlottesville, Virginia, turned violent, leading to the death of one woman. And despite briefly finding a home on a Russian domain, the Daily Stormer site there now also appears to be down. Currently, on Twitter, handles like @dailystormers, @dailystormer, and @rudhum appear as "suspended."

A spokesperson for Twitter did not immediately reply to VICE News' request for comment, but Twitter's code of conduct makes it clear that users "may not promote violence against or directly attack or threaten other people on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, sexual orientation, gender," and a whole host of other categories.
