Donald Trump has decided to release the results from his latest physical to the public after news broke over the weekend that his opponent, Hillary Clinton, has come down with pneumonia.

Unfounded rumors about Clinton's ailing health moved from fringe right-wing conspiracy forums to the mainstream after her coughing fit last week. On Sunday, Clinton fell ill and had to leave a 9/11 memorial event early. Her campaign subsequently announced that Clinton has been diagnosed with pneumonia.

Trump—whose health was previously reported to be "astonishingly excellent" in a poorly written note by his partisan doctor—announced on Fox's Fox & Friends Monday morning that he'd be releasing the results of his recent physical to prove just how "excellent" he really is.

"Hopefully [the results of my physical] are going to be good," Trump said. "I think they're going to be good. I feel great. I'll be releasing very, very specific numbers."

Trump also spoke about Clinton's health, presumably to make sure the healthy candidate/sick candidate dichotomy is thoroughly seared into the minds of his supporters.

"The coughing fit was a week ago, so I assume that was pneumonia also," he said. "I just hope she gets well and gets back on the trail, and we'll be seeing her at the debate."
