Recent Soccer Enthusiast Leslie Jones, Watching Rapids Free Kick: "What in the Fuck Is Happening Right Now?"

She's out there chopping it up about international call-ups and injuries in Qualifying—don't play Leslie for a fool.

Comedian Leslie Jones has taken to the sport of soccer recently, and has been running commentary through her Twitter account—and it could not possibly be more charming. She's either just learning the rules, is totally fucking with us, or just has the omniscience to step back from the game and call it like it is. Either way, it is working. Working well.

Jones—who did great work at the Olympics—started her recent fixation with the game almost exactly a month ago, when she picked up on the attractiveness of soccer players during a Barcelona match:

But now she's looking more to domestic games, as she's tuning into tonight's MLS Conference Finals Game 2 between the Colorado Rapids and the Seattle Sounders. Check out her thoughts on the concept of a free kick:

What is happening right now?' pic.twitter.com/cq66MCXsPL

Yes, Leslie, free kicks are confusing AF—you got that right. How many to a wall? Do you jump and leave the underside exposed. How do you mark the posts? I totally get you.

Here are some other wonderful gems of hers from the match:

It's so pretty out there can we get flowers on the field would that fuck up the game! pic.twitter.com/2gTd3BFaLR

She's even chosen the heel of the match, Shkëlzen Gashi:

Yo don't push cause you hit a beard dude!! pic.twitter.com/guqL7pByR1
— Leslie Jones (@Lesdoggg) November 27, 2016

The beard dude got to be stopped!' pic.twitter.com/uEhvTi0fPQ
— Leslie Jones (@Lesdoggg) November 27, 2016

Hey I'm gonna need the dude with the beard to actually score okaaaaaay?! pic.twitter.com/qk8QuMwk4Q
— Leslie Jones (@Lesdoggg) November 27, 2016

But had a change of heart:

gashi got his own rebound I like him now lmao!! pic.twitter.com/oWiEZurGhZ

She's clearly on Jordan Morris's side:

Wait is the announcer complaining about @JmoSmooth13 not having a left foot?! Shut the FUCK up! You not out there &he is the one who scored!
— Leslie Jones (@Lesdoggg) November 27, 2016

And she's certainly got player safety in mind:

See I can't do the injuries man! my shins and ankles OW!! pic.twitter.com/z5UC6Er8ny
— Leslie Jones (@Lesdoggg) November 27, 2016

I would fake every two minutes so I could get a rest. Too much running mane!! pic.twitter.com/PMOT8ufHWr
— Leslie Jones (@Lesdoggg) November 27, 2016

But what's this?

Hey now when I said that isn't crazy MLS let the players play in World Cup game when they could get injured. Then what my boo Tim got hurt!!
— Leslie Jones (@Lesdoggg) November 27, 2016

Leslie's out here chopping it up about Tim Howard's international call-ups and injuries in Qualifying? Don't play Leslie for a fool. She knows exactly what she's talking about.

But that doesn't stop this from having the wisdom to take a couple steps back and enjoy the beautiful game:

I'm sorry but I love this I'm really enjoying watching the game!! pic.twitter.com/4yp88tumt2
