Good morning, America. Throughout the Olympics, we'll be providing you with morning previews about the action in Rio, with a focus athletes from the U.S., Mexico, and Canada. Here's what to watch for today, August 17, 2016.

The following events will all see medals awarded today:

In track and field, the women's long jumpand men's steeplechase are both on deck. Americans Hillary Bor, Donald Cabral, and Evan Jager are all in the steeplechase along with Canada's Matthew Hughes. The women's long jump features Tianna Bartoletta and Brittney Reese, both of the U.S.

Badminton's mixed doubles gold medal match is scheduled for 4:50 local time.

We'll finally see some beach volleyball medals today. The U.S.'s Kerri Walsh Jennings and April Ross were upset in their semifinal match and will compete for bronze at 3 PM local time.

In boxing, we'll have the women's lightweight semi-finals beginning at 7 PM local time. The men's welterweight title fight takes place later in the day.

Equestrian team jumping is on today. The U.S. and Canada will both field teams. You can catch that at 3 PM local time.

The men's and women's 470 sailing finals will begin this evening. The U.S.'s Annie Haeger and Briana Provancha (pictured above in qualifying) compete in the women's event. Their compatriots Stuart McNay and Dave Hughes will compete for the men. Action starts at 6:05 local time.

Table tennis wraps up today. You can catch the men's team gold medal match at 12:30 AM local time, which is technically tomorrow. Get it together, IOC.

Taekwondo begins today! Mexico's Itzel Adilene Manjarrez Bastidas will fight in the women's under-49kg weight class. She's already through to the quarterfinals. Her compatriot Carlos Navarro Valdez (pictured) will fight in the men's under-58kg class. You can catch the medal rounds this evening.

In wrestling, the U.S.'s Haley Ruth Augella and Canada's Jasmine Main fight in the women's 48kg weight class. Canada's Michelle Cristina Fazzari is in the women's 58kg class. Dorothy Yeats, also of Canada, will fight in the 69kg class. Nice.
