Donald Trump Jr. may want to follow in his father's footsteps and get into politics, Page Six reports. And just like his dad, Don Jr. would likely go big or go home—shooting for the most powerful government position in New York before ever having held office.The younger Trump reportedly told a few members of his fancy F6 Labs gun club on Tuesday that if he were to run for office, he'd be more interested in Andrew Cuomo's current gig than a seat in Congress."Don Jr. said he is interested in running for office, such as governor of New York," a guest at the meeting told Page Six. "But the position of mayor of New York would be less interesting to him." Perhaps he'd rather leave that job to his dad's former foe, Hillary Clinton, should she decide to run.According to the source, Don Jr. also indicated that he'd reportedly grown a little bored with corporate life, despite the fact that he and his brother Eric have been handed the reigns to the several billion-dollar Trump Organization while their father runs the country."Going back to doing deals is boring after 18 months," Don Jr. reportedly said. "The politics bug bit me."A different source told Page Six that Don Jr. is actually "totally focused" on running his dad's business with "no intentions of running for political office at this time."
