Jeb Bush Made a Surprise Appearance During the Emmys As an Uber Driver
Jeb! may never wind up leading the free world, but he could probably hold his own on a UCB stage or something.
Sunday's Emmys were filled with surprise appearances, from the Stranger Things kids to Matt Damon continuing his feud with host Jimmy Kimmel, but none were quite as unexpected as a sketch starring former presidential hopeful-turned-sadsack Jeb Bush.
In a pre-recorded skit, Kimmel hops into a limo to head to the award show only to find the former Florida governor in the driver's seat, who explains that he's "in between jobs."
Bush surprisingly holds his own during the sketch, cracking jokes with Kimmel and bragging about the "$12 an hour" he makes from driving annoying people around.
Jeb! may never wind up leading the free world, but he could probably keep up on a UCB stage or something while his brother works on his next oil painting portrait series, so who's to say there aren't second acts in American lives. Watch the clip above via ABC.
