Robin van Persie Flying Karate Kick Goal

After winning a free kick, Wayne Rooney hit a sensational ball in and Robin van Persie tracked it all the way to the far post, redirecting it past Fraser Forster with a flying kick volley at the last second. It was the game-winner and van Persie's second goal of the evening, the first of which came in the 12th minute when he capitalized on a blind back pass to Forster from Jose Fonte. With a 2-1 lead Manchester United hung on for the final 20 minutes to beat Southampton.
