Everybody gets itchy sometimes, but have you ever stopped to ask what causes these strange urges to scratch? Do they serve any purpose other than to annoy us? In a new animated video lesson from TED-Ed, educator Emma Bryce breaks down some of the ways our body and mind create the itching sensation.
