French punks Syndrome 81 have previewed their side of a split EP with Malmö's Urban Savage to be released through Offside Records and Savage Records.Hailing from Brest, a Brittany harbour city known for crepes and cider, Syndrome 81 are a bunch of hardcore punks who play with a strong oi feel. Similar in vein to Camera Silens or current faves Rixe, they started out a recording project with the aim to sound something like the oi influenced punk n' roll of Criminal Damage. They've since released a self-titled demo, the Désert Urbain EP and a 7' single, but this split with the Swedes could be their best yet.There is also talk of them recording a full album.
