It's big moves from Big Beat (via ex-Swedish House Mafioso Axwell's Axtone imprint) as Dutch upstart NEW_ID's collaboration with Funk Machine, "I Wanna Move," has quickly garnered support from EDM heavyweights like David Guetta, Axwell, Ingrosso and Nicky Romero

The tune kicks off with a classic electro-house dance-floor buildup, but uniquely breaks down into a distinct soulful disco jive vibe with a funky slapped bass leading proceedings.

Amsterdam producer New_ID has a rich history in the g r o o v y side of progressive house. He has collaborations with Axwell in the track "Feel the Pressure," and has toured a part of Swedish House Mafia's Farewell Tour. But New_ID has decided to take a an aesthetic leap. Just like we go to the snack machine to get snacks, New_ID went to Funk Machine to get the funk.

"For me," he says, "'I Wanna Move' was quite ambitious, pairing such an organic, groovy disco sample with the signature New_ID Train House vibe was something I've wanted to do for a long time!"

"I Wanna Move (Original Mix) is to be released July 17 to Big Beat records.
