Get To Know Fade to Mind's New Talent Leonce With This Banging Mix

You might know him from his "Truffle Butter" bootleg, but here you get to hear another side of his sound.

Back in August, Fade to Mind announced the signing of Atlanta producer Leonce, formerly known as DJ Leo, celebrating the occasion with a stellar b2b set from the artist alongside fellow Atlanta resident/labelmate Helix on their Rinse FM radio show. Excluding the most intense SoundCloud diggers, for most people it was their first time hearing the relatively unknown producer—which in retrospect was pretty cool in itself, coming from such an established label.

No official release from the artist has been announced yet—although there is that heavy "Tuffle Butter" edit and a couple other radio rips floating around—but for those of us that want to get to know him a little better, he's just done a really great all-rap mix for Truants. He gave them some background for the mix in an accompanying interview, saying, "I'm definitely influenced a lot by rap a lot as a DJ and producer even though I wouldn't call myself just a rap DJ or producer so it's cool to have a lil chance to show that side of myself more." Read the whole interview here, stream the mix below, and download it here.
