Sam Rockwell won the Oscar for Best Supporting Actor forThree Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri, thanking director Martin McDonagh, co-stars Frances McDormand and Woody Harrelson, and "anyone who's ever looked at a billboard."The race was dominated by McDonagh's Three Billboards with both Harrelson and Rockwell holding down nominations for their portrayals of two very different small-town cops. Christopher Plummer scored a nod for his famously last-minute role as billionaire J. Paul Getty in All the Money in the World, Richard Jenkins earned the nod for The Shape of Water, and Willem Dafoe brought home The Florida Project's only nom as softie hotel manager Bobby.
