Hockey Goalie Casually Drinks Water, Unaware He's Being Shot On

People will call this guy stupid, or oblivious, or a "bad goalie." But no one can accuse this guy of being a bad human. He's just out there, surviving.

Sometimes you gotta take care of your basic needs before anything else. Take this Russian hockey goalie—Andrei Gavrilov, who plays for the KHL's Salavat Yulaev—who clearly has his priorities straight. He's sweating, he's overheated in several layers of pads—his primeval instincts are kicking in, telling him that he's been on the hunt for too long and that he might die if he doesn't find a watering hole to drink from. So what if people are barreling down at him ripping shots on his net?

Let's take a look at Maslow's Hierarchy of needs to see where hockey fits into this equation:
