Netflix just surprise-released the trailer for its latest original series, The OA, which drops at the end of the week, just in time for some serious holiday binge watching.

There isn't a whole lot of information about the show right now—Netflix is being pretty secretive—but here's what we do know.

When a missing blind girl named Prairie Johnson returns to her small town seven years after disappearing and with her sight restored, her community is plunged into chaos piecing together what happened. She refuses to talk to the FBI or her parents about her disappearance, and not everyone is happy about her return.

The drama series was directed by Zal Batmanglij and stars Brit Marling. The duo also wrote and executive produced the series. Batmanglij and Marling have a history together, previously working on the eco-terrorism movie The East and time-travel cult mindfuck Sound of My Voice. Netflix picked up the show in 2015 but never gave a solid release date until Monday.

All eight, hour-long episodes drop this Friday. Until then, watch the trailer above and try to decipher some inscrutable Instagram posts to kill time.
