Talking Heads: Getting Cozy with The BPM Mascots

Get to know the iconic trio as they dry off from another big adventure.

If you're the kind of person who's still reeling from finding out that Santa Claus isn't real or that pro wrestling is choreographed, you should stop reading this now. It turns out that the BPM mascots, affectionately referred to as 'The BPM Head Guys,' aren't in fact anthropomorphized manifestations of BPM's spirit, they're actually regular 'ol dudes with a knack for arts and crafts and some wicked, wicked dance maneuvers.

The trio have become an iconic part of the BPM experience over the years. Anyone who has gone to more than a couple parties in Playa has found a moment with them as they bop about with their characteristic dance moves (somewhere between lemming, oompa loompa, and pixie).

The mascots are a walking, humanoid good vibes machine, making everyone around them laugh and dance just a little bit harder. This year in particular, they had a special moment in the water during sunrise at Innvervisions at The Blue Venado. Anyone in attendance will not soon forget it.

The video above gives you an inside look at how all this madness came about and an opportunity to actually get a good look-see at who these dudes actually are. It even offers an up-close-and-personal account of that moment at Innervisions.

As your BPM Festival recovery gets in full swing, this is a great opportunity to look back on all the tomfoolery.
