Paris venue Le Bataclan will reopen on November 16, just over one year on from the coordinated Paris terrorist attacks on November 13 in which a stadium, restaurants, and numerous bars were also targeted. Libertines frontman Pete Doherty will play the first two nights at the renovated venue in the city's 11th arrondissement, followed by two dates from Senegalese singer and composer Youssou N'Dour.
Renovation of the venue began in April, according to a Facebook post from the venue, which aimed to preserve the "warmth and friendliness" of the original space.
THUMP interviewed French house musician St. Germain earlier this year about performing at Le Bataclan the night before the Paris attacks.
