Everyone — with a semblance of a brain at least — loves Gerd. He's an incredible DJ, a wonderful producer, and a master of the remix. The man's remixed literally hundreds of artists over years, including Nicholas, Romanthony, MK, Prins Thomas and, errr, Ennio Morricone. Not many other people can claim that...

Next month sees the head of 4 Lux take control of a track by Moodtrap, turning in a typically rough and ready remix. Dropping on Cozzy D's Lower East record label, the Make it Better release sees Moodtrap's airy original given a juicy 90s twist by the aforementioned Cozzy D, as well as Gerd's clanking warehouse workout version. The whole thing's rounded off with another Moodtrap original in the shape of the super uptight, super upright, boogie and electro tinged house stomper "Ethos of Love'.

It's a great little record and we're delighted to be bringing you the Gerd remix live and direct, before anyone else has got their hands on it. Expect to hear this one in clubs all winter long.

The Make It Better EP drops on 16th of November via Lower East.
