In **Champions League** action, PSG beat Chelsea 2-1 (4-2 on aggregate) and Benfica beat Zenit 2-1 (3-1 on aggregate).

**FuboTV**, an American soccer streaming service, [just secured](http://variety.com/2016/digital/news/fubotv-funding-21st-century-fox-sky-1201726902/) $15 million in funding from the Rupert Murdoch empire. (Full disclosure: Murdoch also has a minority stake in VICE)

Poor **Aston Villa.** They've [announced](http://www.birminghammail.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/live-coverage-aston-villas-latest-11018425) a pre-tax loss of cool 27 million pounds. Villa will almost certainly get relegated this season. Will they do any better in the Championship? I'm not so sure.

The **Europe League** starts again tonight, and it features some pretty great matchups. Manchester United plays Liverpool and Tottenham plays Dortmund.

Google's machine [beat](http://www.engadget.com/2016/03/10/google-deepmind-ai-go-second-win/) **Lee Sedol**, the greatest human Go player, for a second time, taking a 2-0 lead in the 5-match series. If you're a huge nerd like me, you can watch the match replay below.

Watch DeepMind's program AlphaGo take on the legendary Lee Sedol (9-dan pro), the top Go player of the past decade, in a $1M 5-game challenge match in Seoul. This is the livestream for Match 2 to be played on: 10th March 13:00 KST (local), 04:00 GMT; note for US viewers this is the day before on: 9th March 20:00 PT, 23:00 ET. 

In October 2015, AlphaGo became the first computer program ever to beat a professional Go player by winning 5-0 against the reigning 3-times European Champion Fan Hui (2-dan pro). That work was featured in a front cover article in the science journal Nature in January 2016.
