Nebraska QB Soars Over Defense For Majestic Play

Tommy Armstrong, Jr. might be able to fly. This play is bonkers and a joy to watch.

This play is so awesome, you don't need any context about who's playing, what the score is, how much time is left, etc. You don't even need player names to enjoy everything this clip has to offer, but I will give you the quarterback's because he made this crazy-ass clip possible. His name is Tommy Armstrong, Jr. and he might be playing with flubber on his cleats.

Armstrong is trying to get a first down and almost winds up scoring a touchdown when he jumps clear over one defender, is then caught by another defender, and continues undeterred to the end zone. When it looks like he will clearly be taken down short of the end zone—he started his jump at the eigh-yard line!—making a spectacular play only slightly less spectacular without the score, he plants his leg and uses left arm to propel himself that one bit further. Unfortunately review determined that he was taken down just shy of the end zone. But forget all of that. This was incredible and downright majestic as fuck.
