Mighty Crown Have Remixed The Pioneers

Japan’s premier soundsystem has delivered unto I and I an new installment in Clarks' ORIGINALSREMIXED series.

For 40 years, the feet of reggae fans and musicians have been styled with suave suede and crepe soles by Clarks Originals. To celebrate their love of all things reggae, Originals have got four well-known producers to remix the classic Trojan Records tune "Let Your Yeah Be Yeah" by The Pioneers. The series is called #ORIGINALSREMIXED and kicked off with Toddla T in July. Last month Riva Starr's remix was released and now it's time for Japan's Mighty Crown soundsystem to have a pop.

Mighty Crown’s take on the song is a bit more natural, with body-twitching dancehall percussion and shakers. It's got rock steady vocals and all of those punchy digital bass stabs you loved so much at Carnival this year.

This remix is out now, available for FREE download, so click here to download the lastest remix or visit clarksoriginals.com/downloadcentre where you’ll find Toddla and Starr’s mixes up for grabs, too. Take a walk around Yokohama with the Mighty Crown boys in the player above and be sure to keep your ears to the ground for more remixes to come by following @clarksoriginals on Twitter. Up next will be LA-based beat maker TOKiMONSTA, on #ORIGINALSREMIXED duties this October.
