Regina Spektor wants some “Attention” too

Singer-songwriter Regina Spektor is back with a new installation of Music Corner

Singer-songwriter Regina Spektor is back with a new installation of VICE News' "Music Corner." And after hearing Charlie Puth’s “Attention (Remix Feat. Kyle),” Spektor wasn't afraid to do a little dance — or give a little critique.

Her verdict? “Yeah, it’s definitely like a dancey, feel good song,” she said. "I'm definitely into the sound of it, but I wish that it was lyrically more fun for me.”

Other songs that were better received this week include Kimbra’s “Top of the World,” First Aid Kit’s “Fireworks,” and “Black Magic” by Ty Segall. Find out why:

Previous VICE News Tonight critics include Liam Gallagher of Oasis, Patrick Carney of The Black Keys, Carrie Brownstein of Sleater-Kinney, HAIM, Rae Sremmurd, and Big Boi.
