A few weeks ago we got an email from the people at Unpiano Books telling us about a new collection of photos they were about to release by a fellow named Arthur Pollock. Unpiano put out our pal Sandy Kim's book back in 2009, so we knew they had good taste and asked them to send us a copy.
The book, titled Arthur Pollock, arrived a few days ago and had a direct impact on our workplace productivity. We spent hours slowly flipping through the pages and fighting over who would get to keep the book (me).
If you haven't heard of Arthur Pollock, don't sweat it. Even though he's been a photographer since the 60s, working as a freelancer and for various newspapers throughout his career, this is the first time his work has been collected in a fancy schmany hardcover book.
