Watch Fox News smear Comey as an "emotional girl"

Here are all the times Fox News personalities tried to discredit James Comey's new book.

“High school girl.” “Drama queen.” “Bitchy.” “Catty." “Emotional girl.”

That’s how Fox News hosts have been describing former FBI Director James Comey in the run-up to the release of his much-awaited book, “A Higher Calling.” The book, likely to trigger President Trump in almost a dozen ways, details Comey’s brief tenure under his former boss.

While Comey discusses the Russia investigation at length, he also peppers in some shade, like recalling the size of Trump’s hands and noting his tanning habit (as demonstrated by “bright white half-moons under his eyes where I assumed he placed small tanning goggles.”)

Fox News hit all the RNC’s “Lyin’ Comey” talking points, but the network added some sexism, too, comparing Comey to a dramatic, emotional woman. The new tactic, however, wasn’t without its detractors, even on Fox: Jesse Watters' said his mom didn't like his Comey comments and texted him to suggest he apologize.

Watch Fox News hosts draw a straight line between showing emotion and lacking credibility.
