A Reddit User Is Making 'Super Mario Maker' Levels While High on Different Drugs

Ever try a super mushroom?

"I would post this to /r/MarioMaker," wrote Reddit user waytoogeneric earlier today, "but I don't know if it would be allowed, since there are many young users there."

This poster has a goal, a mission, that many of us around the world can and will appreciate. This person wants to make a bunch of levels on Super Mario Maker, Nintendo's new user-generated Mario adventure, while high as shit.

The plan is to make different levels under the influence of different drugs: Coke, LSD, and of course, shrooms.

The first experiment, named Alpracodone (enter the code 88AB-0000-00A2-3FFC to play it), was made on some xanax and hydrocodone, and uploaded earlier today.

Waytoogeneric claims the stage is "sort of dull," but I think they're being a little hard on themselves. The level is in the ghost house setting. A few starting jumps require you to use Yoshi's tough shoes to walk across a Thwomp, and then sacrifice your dinosaur bud to make another leap, before either spin-jumping across some spiny shells or discovering a secret super mushroom that'll allow you to use a second path that doesn't ask for as much dexterity.

It's interesting to note that this is the first level I've encountered that consciously uses an alternative path to a tricky obstacle, and it's the first level I've played where I knew what the creator was on.

Waytoogeneric says more levels are on the way, but you can play some of their previous stages as well. One is filled with Bob-omb traps and is called "Don't Panic." Not cool man, not cool.
