Let's be honest: the corn dog is guilty pleasure food, meant for amusement parks days and rambles through the annual state fair. But who in the hell needs a plain old corndog when you can batter crayfish—or lobster—in panko, seaweed flakes, and plenty of sesame seeds, fry it, and then dip the whole thing into freshly made wasabi mayonnaise? This work of art is the brainchild of chef Al Brown from Best Ugly Bagels in Auckland, New Zealand.

"With these crayfish tails, all I'm doing is like a normal breading situation but I've added some seaweed and some sesame seeds," explains Brown. Not only does the seaweed compliment the nuances of crayfish, but the sesame seeds provide for a crunchy exterior that can't be beat.

It's food on a stick, but elevated to new levels. No wonder Action is so damn excited.
