S I S T E R is a new radio show hosted by London-based DJ's Carly Wilford and Shan McGinley. Reaching from grime and hip hop, to UK bass and house, the radio show features a choice selection of new music alongside an exclusive mix and interview in each episode. Already five episodes deep, the podcast is quickly gaining momentum, with guests from both the UK and the US, including Benga, Alison Wonderland, UNIIQU3, and Novelist.

"After spending time in America I realized that radio was very different to that in the UK," Wilford told THUMP over email. "I felt there was a lack of diversity and originality in so much of the music that was being broadcast and it wasn't representative of what people were listening to. With both of our ambitions set on changing the face of radio, Shan and I decided to link up with [UK radio production company] The Boy In The Corner to create a global radio show that helped to bridge the gap between the UK and US scenes."

We are excited to premiere the sixth episode of S I S T E R with you today, featuring a special guest mix from London via Bristol house and bass DJ Redlight. Co-host Shan also chats with underground hero Seth Troxler about staying healthy as a DJ and a raver, and how to tow the line between work and play. He wrote to THUMP: "The opportunity popped up to linkup with Seth at the opening of his new restaurant in London called Smokey Tails I just had to drop everything and add the legend to the S I S T E R wave!" Check out the new episode below, and keep an eye out for upcoming episodes of S I S T E R.
