For more than 20 years now, German DJ Ian Pooley has been sharing his visionary definition of house music with the world. After an acclaimed album release in January, the time has come for a little remix exercise for What I Do, featuring seven remixes of album tracks. Pooley personally picked producers he admired to submit versions, including Delano Smith, Daniel Dexter, Matthias Vogt, and the young Hamburg-based wunderkind Stimming. On this stunning seven-minute rework of "Kids Play," Stimming takes the original vocal and pairs it with beautiful strings to build a sort of Balearic version which sounds like it was recorded on the cool coasts of the Baltic Sea. The whole pack is out now as a double-vinyl pack for the purists, with the digital release coming July 10 on Plant Music.
