It's no surprise we've heard the mysterious London producer and DJ, Catching Flies, is a fan of collecting glowworms and growing rare exotic fruits in his spare time. By taking a gander at the provided tracklist for his ON DECK mix, it's evident the 22-year old has a penchant for the more eclectic, wonkier side of dance music.

Back in 2012, he sparked up his career with the self-release of his first EP, The Stars, and since then has been working tirelessly through remixes, online mixes, bootlegs, and gigs, to carve his own unique niche in the industry. Keep in mind—that's no easy feat, as the industry is littered with countless young, hungry artists who all are striving to offer something different and new to our ears and minds.

Luckily for Catching Flies, with tracks like "Stay Forever" (from his follow up EP The Long Journey Home), and the stunning mix above, it's clear he's locked on to a lush mixture of ambient electronica, house, and jazz-infused soul—a focused indicator of his own mind as a producer and DJ. Additionally, through a number of gigs alongside other acclaimed electronica powerhouses like Bonobo, ODESZA, and Submotion Orchestra, he's connecting himself to all the right people that share his vast directive as an artist.
