DIDDY'S NEW TV CHANNEL TO INCLUDE EDM

Before LOLing all over the place about this, you should realize that Diddy is really into house music and always has been. He used to jump in the booth with Eric Morillo and get on the mic before the genre name was even coined. So he gets a pass. He is also on a DJ Hell track from a while back. Let's bring it back.

ZEDS DEAD RESPOND TO HATERS
Dudes. You guys are Zeds Dead. You are touring the world. How are you gonna let a little Internet hate get to you? When did all of these DJs become so soft? Also, who in the hell doesn't like dancehall?

Poor DJ Rashad had to cancel his European tour because his car accident a few weeks ago was a little more serious than he had thought. We wish you a speedy recovery and some European dancefloors will miss you.

Who is in the news more—this dude or Miley Cyrus? My editor told me I can't write about him anymore but I don't care because you guys have to hear this: apparently he was offered $200,000 to play a Bon Jovi song in Vegas and he actually did it, then didn't even get paid and now there's a legal issue. In the same week he asked if he could opt out of his nomination for an MTV EMA because apparently "MTV fucking blows." This fucking guy eh?

KIDNAPPED
Now this is some fucked up shit. Spanish synth pop band Delorean was virutually kidnapped this past week during Mutek in Mexico for 48 hours. Apparently kidnappers are up with the times and figured out a way to call their loved ones and say they are holding them for ransom, while not actually physically holding them—but telling the victims that they know their whereabouts and to turn off all communication or they will harm them. It's pretty insane and we are really happy they are OK. This also lead to fellow Spaniard John Talabot cancelling his Mexican tour dates. We don't blame him.

NOT A GOOD WEEK FOR TRAVELERS

And speaking of bad travel luck, Dash Berlin played in India this week, only to be confronted by the police and taken away mid-set for questioning about his work visa. Apparently he was set free eventually, but what a vibe killer!
