Drug Lord of the Rings: Police Find Red Sox World Series Ring in Raid

You could call it a drug ring.

After witnessing a drug deal going down, police issued a search warrant to raid a home in Quincy, Massachusetts, a suburb of Boston. Along with the Oxycodone, police scanners, money-counting machines, and $9,000 in cash, they found a 2004 Boston Red Sox World Series ring, according to Yahoo Sports. Vladimir Putin would be proud.

The white-gold ring belonged to an employee, not a player or a manager, and had been reported missing. There were a record-breaking 500 rings made to mark the end of the Red Sox's 86-year World Series drought, and others have been auctioned off for as much as $89,000. That could buy you a lot of pills.
