Boogie Cousins, Harrison Barnes, Ribery, and Xabi Alonso Combine on a Keepie Uppie Alley Oop

Xabi's not too shabby. But Ribery? Stick with the feet.

Chicago made for a nice conversion point of two global sports superpowers yesterday, as the USA Men's Basketball team spent some quality time with Bayern Munich—seemingly outside a faux-fancy hotel convention center—playing some kind of basketball-soccer fusion.

For those of you unfamiliar with Bayern Munich, they're like the USA Men's Basketball team of Germany. (Trust me—that makes sense.) For those of you unfamiliar with the USA Men's Basketball team, they go to the Olympics to obliterate other countries at a sport invented in their country, laughing all the way to the bank. Well, the two teams were on tour, and one visit happened to coincide with the other, and voila.

The peak moment of this sports union came when Harrison Barnes, Xabi Alonso, and Franck Ribery all combined in a run of keepie uppie, only to send DeMarcus Cousins in for a dunk on a trash can. Thus, the Keepie Uppie Alley Oop was invented.

Also on hand for the PR wet dream were Javi Martinez and DeMarcus Cousins. Boogie looks pumped to get jersey that fit.

There's some shennanegans with some carpet soccer, with Boogie seemingly blocking the whole damn goal like the cheater he is.

And then, of course, Bayern had to have their go at playing hoop ball.

Xabi's not too shabby (ugh, sorry). But Ribery? Stick with the feet.
